Nashville Part 3 - The Parthenon

I truly do not know how one decides to recreate the Parthenon in the middle of Nashville. And yet, someone did. Right there in the middle of a cute park, where people toss around a Frisbee and play soccer, are massive Greek columns. Apparently, Nashville likes to call itself the "Athens of the South," so for Tennessee's 1897 Centennial Exposition, they built this crazy thing. It was one of the most random experiences I've ever had. But also so oddly cool.
