Anniversary

Saturday was mine and John's 6th anniversary. Even though we were broken up for a bit, we still celebrate the years it's been since our first date. As we say, the trial separation didn't work out. So we don't subtract time for anything. It was a fairly quiet weekend, but we did go get a hotel in Annapolis to have some time away from everything. Not a far trip, but just enough. We had a great dinner on the water complete with chocolate lava cake, my favorite. Also, the hotel gave us a bottle of wine and a snickers bar. We normally wouldn't be all "oh it's our anniversary, gush, gush" but the lady asked if we were celebrating something and John actually was quick to say so. The "Mr. and Mrs. Cooksey" on the congrats note was pretty funny.
