My Boyfriend's Back!
John's back from his Appalachian Trail excursion. I drove down to Shenandoah Friday night to pick them up and we camped, then headed home Saturday morning. He had good times and bad times. I think he'll stick with 3-4 day trips from here on out. He's sporting some mountain man facial hair. I'm happy I get to talk to him before bed again! It's amazing how little things like not knowing when he'll be able to text back gets to you. And this was a fairly short trip, only 2 weeks, and I saw him over the weekend between.

Glad to hear he's back!
My husband did an out of town job a couple of weeks ago in a remote area without cell reception. I know what you mean about chatting before bed, it feels like something is missing when you don't!
I never sleep right when he's gone. That phone call (or goodnight when we're together) is a necessary part of my nightly routine. Glad I'm not the only one who hates it!
