Sugarloaf Mountain - June

another trip to Sugarloaf Mountain. It's pretty close to Baltimore so I imagine we'll be there a lot. Have to say, I liked the other location at Sugarloaf better. More to climb, a little more spread out. Still, we had a nice day. There was some lounging in a hammaock, a poor rope system (thank goodness no one was hurt, but I was mad), a hard climb that resulted in angry faces (but I finished), and two baby deer playing nearby. Oh, and Kevin got nailed in the back by a softball-sized rock which some people kicked off the ledge. Hikers really need to be aware of climbers and not throw/kick rocks. Sometimes that's more dangerous than actually climbing!

Screw climbing, hammocks rule!

John's hand tried to explode. Freaked me out!

Hey, it's chalk!

Confused belayers aren't good.

Kevin took like 30 pic of me on this climb...woo!

I look pretty hard core sometimes.

Angry face!
