Asheville, NC Part 3

Part of the plan for Asheville was to visit the famous Biltmore mansion. I really didn't care if we saw the inside, but there's gardens and a winery there I wanted to see. Well, it was $60 a person so we decided not to go. It just wasn't worth it unless we spent an entire day, and there weren't enough days. If we could have gotten a packgage without a house tour and just gone to the gardens and bought a bottle of wine, we would have.

Anyway, this left us with time before our flight home. So we wandered around some random city parks for the morning then just headed back to Charlotte (2 hour drive). Along the way we stopped at a Botanical garden to kill time. It had nothing on St. Louis, but it was nice...even though once we left the mountains we realized it was still summer. Eww humidity!
