I keep saying I need to climb outdoors more. It's an entirely different world. The rocks are sharp. Falls are more dangerous. You don't take as many risks for fear of bashing your face into said sharp rocks. There are snakes trying to eat toads far too big for them. Basically, it's just more difficult. When you're doing 5.9s and 5.10s in the gym and 5.6s and 5.7s outside, it's quite humbling. But I want to improve. And the only way to do that is to get out there.
