Ilchester Rock is in a park that's fairly close to my house, so no long drive to the mountains. There's also only a few routes there so easy setup and doesn't take too long to try out everything. So pretty nice thing to do on a random Wednesday.
I have not climbed outdoors nearly as much as I wanted to this year. So it was nice to get in some real rock time. Of course outdoors is much more difficult so it took me a bit to get back in the swing of things. But overall, a good few hours on a rare warm November afternoon.

Gorgeous sunset! I'm sure that alone made it worth taking off work early:)
Oh yeah, it was perfect. Not that you need a great sunset to justify leaving work early, that itself is a good day, but it was even more worth the PTO hours I used :)
