Mom/Daughter Day on the Eastern Shore

Mom wasn't here long, but we made the most of her visit. We headed out to the Eastern Shore, cause Mom insisted she needed water. I hadn't been to St. Michael's yet, so we headed there. It's a cute little town with little shops and restaurants, which is how we started our day. Convinced Mom to get the Rockfish, local to MD, and she loved it. Didn't end up doing too much shopping but saw a lot of cute things I could have bought.

Biggest event of the day was a cruise around the Miles River (off the Chesapeake Bay). We saw osprey and a few of the filming locations from The Wedding Crashers. I will never not love being out on the water just hanging out.

I'm on a boat!

Wedding Crashers house...I think

Next up was beer and wine! We stopped at Eastern Shore Brewing and St. Michael's Winery. At the brewery I was surprised to not like the amber but really enjoy the summer fling and the magic. Not my usual picks. At the winery I had a few goodies but thankfully only left with one bottle, the Gollywobbler Red.

On the way to dinner in Annapolis (on the way home) we stopped at Sandy Point Park for some beach time. It wasn't long, but Mom got some sand between her toes. And we had an amazing view of the Bay Bridge.
