Crystal Grotto Caverns
Yeah, I told you I was into caves now, right? Formations are fascinating...and it's warmer than it is outside right now. I've now covered PA and MD, so VA in a few months! This trip was to Crystal Grotto Caverns only about an hour west of my house. This was a much shorter tour and smaller cave, but still pretty neat. Though honestly, the two kids on the tour with us made it worthwhile. They were so amazed! Sometimes you forget how interested kids can be in new experience. Everyone should be that entertained.

Oo! I have a love/hate relationship with caves. They're fascinating, and yet I can't help but look at the stalactites and worry they're going to break off and impale me.
I have problems:)
Ha, that sounds like something I would fear but I'm oddly comfortable. It helps not going into ones that are super tiny and require crawling around on all fours...though maybe some day I'll get brave.
