Spring classes shouldn't exisit...

Have you ever noticed how awful the Spring semester is. Just when it starts to get warm, the workload increases. You finally want to be outside doing things like smelling flowers and climbing trees but you are stuck inside basically tied to a computer or a book or a very large stack of pages to be revised. And the warm weather just makes it so hard to concentrate on anything.

For example, this weekend I had all kind of regular work plus a presentation, various pieces of work to get ahead on, and I had to finish up my next chapters for novel workshop. Now, part of this is my fault because I won't be in town next weekend so I had to get some work done now. So I missed out on quite a bit of nice weather because I had to be inside studying. Work is slowly increasing as the end of the semester nears. Soon I will be revising alone in my office with the windows open hoping that this small bit of fresh air will keep me going.

Of course, the warm weather is all the more incentive to get things done in a more timely fashion, so that I could go outside and enjoy it. And the faster I work, the faster summer comes and then I really will be able to enjoy the greatness that is warm weather.

And ya know, if it were currently the winter semester, I would be complaining that when you spend all your energy staying warm, it's hard to focus on school work. So really, I just don't like the second half of any semester. And come September, I will be ready to be back in school. I am full of contradictions.

I do agree with you here. I am having a much more difficult time right now getting my stuff done early than I have all school year. Luckily it is so crappy out today so we can hopefully get some work done before class tonight!
