Wedding Shower

John's sister is getting married next week which means lots of wedding stuff in our lives. We've spent the last few weeks working on the ceremony, because as the writer in the family I got that honor (and John is performing the ceremony so he had some say. It's kind of a mix of not too sappy things we found online and then tweaked a bit. This week's event - the bridal shower.

I realized I'd not actually ever been to a bridal shower. (I need more girl friends) I was a little nervous to spend the evening with a lot of people I didn't know, but it was a good time. We went to a place near the family's place called the Royal Tea Room. Can't complain about three courses paired with yummy tea. Best was the blueberry scone with an earl gray-like tea. Could have eaten that all night.
