Wild Lights at the St. Louis Zoo

On my first evening back in St. Louis I made a point to embarrass my little brothers. We went to the zoo for their light display. My holiday spirit was much higher than theirs. There was singing, Elf quotes, and skipping. Teenage boys do not always appreciate this kind of thing. But it was great.

Longwood Gardens Christmas

So this weekend involved a dead car battery and a lot of time in the kitchen (hello cookie exchange!) but none of that stood in the way of getting up to Longwood Gardens again. They have a lovely Christmas display. Who could ever get tired of Christmas trees? Also, I need to learn how to take night pictures with my camera.
